Medical Statistics Expert

for Medical Malpractice Suit

The need

Attorneys representing the plaintiff in his medical malpractice suit against a surgeon needed a medical statistician to make their case. The case alleged that the plaintiff suffered nerve damage, excessive bleeding, and hip dislocation because of a hip replacement surgery. To prove that this was an unusual outcome for this type of surgery, the ideal expert would need to consult several references about the complication rates for hip surgeries and create a report of the statistical likelihood of the alleged complications occurring.
