Metallurgical Expert

for Printer Damages Suit

The need

Attorneys representing an agency for restaurants in its suit against a POS system manufacturer needed a metallurgical expert to make their case. The case alleged that the printers the defendant sold the plaintiff stopped functioning because a switch within the printer corroded. As such, the ideal expert would need to be able to test this theory. Further to the faulty switch claim, the plaintiff alleged that the defendants knew the printers would not work well in a restaurant environment.

Our approach

From conversations with the clients, we understood that the case was going to trial. While they did not require testimony experience, they did want someone who would present well at trial.
