Smart TV Design Expert

for Consumer Class Action

The need

Attorneys representing the plaintiffs against a consumer electronics manufacturer needed an expert in the design of smart TVs to prove their case. Plaintiffs alleged that the defendants manufactured and sold LED TVs that had a design defect that caused the TVs to overheat and led to burning, melting and picture abnormalities that rendered the products useless. The ideal expert would need to examine the in-suit products and opine on the root cause of the issues.
